What to order?

I've finished my initial supply of Proraso and Derby blades. So I'm placing my next order!!!! For my next blades I think I will try the Shark blades. Now for the tough part, the soaps and creams. I would like to try the more budget minded products. I'm leaning towards Erasmic cream, Spieck cream, Ingrams cream Cella soap, and Tabac soap. My question is mainly how to store the soaps when using a rotation?

With the Cella, I'm confused as to what exactly it is. It is listed as a soap in some sites, but described as a "putty". Do I swirl my brush over the whole puck like a soap? Do I break a tiny chunk off and use it like a cream?

Any other soaps or creams that are less expensive that are worth trying out?

I recommend grabbing a sample pack of blades and rotating through it. As for soaps, I haven't tried anything other that Mitchells Wool Fat, but that doesn't exactly fall into the "budget" category! It sure is nice though.

Go a sampler pack of blades, it's far easier when starting out.

Everyone should try Tabac, it's a terrific soap, opinions divide only on the scent. I don't know about the 'putty' one, but sounds a bit like the Proraso soap, which is more like a hard cream, and I just swirl the brush over it lightly with a very damp brush.

With hard soaps, your brush needs to be just slightly damp and they need a fair bit of puck agitation to load up the brush.
