A friend of mine is in Turkey and can get some shaving stuff from there. What brands what stuff you recommend? I know they have the Derby there, but what other stuff you recommend?

Arko should be there. They make some soap and several creams.
Arko makes some pretty decent shaving cream and a shave stick. Just beware, the shave stick while it is actually a pretty nice tallow based soap has what could best be described as an interesting smell to it when first used. However, it thankfully smells a lot better after you apply it, and the scent of the actual stick seems to fade with time.
