What Stouts Are You Looking Forward To?

With the colder months coming, what stouts will the beer enthusiasts be drinking?

I really look forward to Stone Russian Imperial Stout, Great Divide Chocolate Yeti, Southern Star Buried Hatchet Stout, Deschutes Abyss, Oskar Blues Ten Fidy, Squatters Outer Darkness, North Coast Old Rasputin.

I really hope I run in to some great seasonal releases this year. I missed out on a lot last year.

Oh, and good news for Texas beer drinkers. Bear Republic Big Bear Black Stout is coming back!! Yes! A great hoppy stout to look forward to.

Let's hear em!

While you can only find this brand in Wisconsin I'm a big fan of New Glarus Coffee Stout.

Also a fan of Zonkers stout. Its from snake River Brewery- Wyoming.
Bells Stout- Kalamazoo(spelling?) Michigan
Left Hand Milk Stout-Colorado.

Full Sail Imperial Stout. but you have to go to the brewery to drink it. and come February, Black Gold: the stout goes into a bourbon barrel for 10 months, then gets bottled. exquisite.

their porter is almost as dark, and equally tasty, but can be bought.

and I miss Irish Death (Iron Horse Brewery, Ellensburg, WA).

God, I wish there were decent places to get good beer around here. Too much domestic junk. Would love to get a hold of some of the Belgian chocolate stouts.

If you can find some Epic Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout you must try it. Only had it on tap once, but man was it good.

Had an old friend 2 weeks ago. Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout, perfect companion with a cheeseburger and fries after a wind-whipped 50 degree outside shopping excursion with SWMBO.

Youngs chocoloate stout, I have a bottle in the fridge I am looking forward to. Medical tomorrow so no drinking and fasting tonight bah! It is good getting a bottle of Youngs in the middle of Ukraine.

While visiting a friend in Detroit, about 9 years ago, we drank an on tap stout that was made with coffee. It was popular and sold in many of the local pubs and the larger restaurant bars. I can't remember the brand but, it was the best stout I ever had. Is anyone from Detroit who knows the brand?

Gotta have some of that Old Rasputin. I bought some back in August and once I realized it was just too dang hot for a stout that heavy I put it away in my closet. This thread reminded me I need to get it out again!

Bridgeport Brewing CO (Portland, OR) has a Cafe Mocha. coffee infused porter that is damned fine too. not sure if it can be found outside the Pacific NW.

We have had Founder's Breakfast Stout on tap at the office all week. It has been a universal hit. Old Rasputin is one of my favorites as well. Goose Island BCS is yet another great one.

Southern Tier brewing makes a fantastic imperial stout series called the "Blackwater" series. Creme Brulee stout. WIN.
