What spray for the hard felt?

All:
Seriously contemplating purchase of a hard wool felt strop for frequent touch ups. The webbing (aka seat belt) of my current SRD strop just isn't doing much for me...I've tried it plain, with white "stuff" from Harbor Freight tools, and most recently Chrome Ox. To be honest, CrOx doesn't do much for me no matter where I've tried it (I have it on a leather paddle as well). The question is whether to go .25 or .50 on the diamond spray. Anyone have an opinion they would like to share? Usually straight off the hone, my edges are good (close shaves, no irritation) but they don't stay "there" more than about 3 shaves (I strop a lot on leather, with no linen/cotton).
Thanks!
Greg

Right their with you on the CrOx and the seat belt strop (haven't used it, don't like the idea of it).

The more I use it, the more I like the hard wool felt lightly loaded with .25 diamond spray. What's been working well (for me) when a razor needs a refresh is 20 laps on that followed with 20 on the felt's leather (buffalo) counterpart, rinse & dry the blade then normal stropping.

Cotton or hard wool or linen or split leather are all good and superior to what you are using at present.

They all work very well. You should try no paste or sprays first and especially with a soft carbon steel it may do the trick. If not try the paste that you enjoy. I'm presently trying .5 diamond spray on hard wool for touch ups and I like it. There are many combinations that give great shaving results.

Too much choice nowdays, it's confusing.
