What razor would you take on a two week trip?

Help me select my travel razor. This is my first trip since I began DE/Se shaving.

I think I would pick one of the Super Speeds. I voted for the '51.

if you are only taking one razor for that long of a trip, I'd suggest an adjustable one, so you have a variety all in one razor with the different settings.

I usually take my Slim or Red Tip when I travel. Lately, I have been taking a Red Tip more than any other.

I'm being serious not sarcastic. Depending on how and where you're travelling, belongings can sometimes disappear. I don't travel with my favourite razors.

i usually travel with current production razor for this reason.

The 1945-1955 Schick Type G Injector in a heart beat. It's a tremendous shaver for me, is light weight, and if lost on the trip it would be easy and inexpensive to replace.

When travelling I bring a Merkur Progress and a Superspeed '49, so I vote for the '51 Superspeed.

We're on a two week vacation now. My son took a black handled super speed and I have a Tech on a black Bakelite handle. Both easily replaceable.

I chose the superspeed 51. because even if you lose it, it is available and easy to get in no time. but if you want my opinion. buy any merkur or edwin jagger. so you won't be sorry for losing it

This. Take the one that will bother you the least if it gets lost.

I am thinking a ball-end Tech is easy/and cheap to replace, since they are still very plentiful. Plus, they give a decent shave.

I'd go with the black handle SS, gives a decent shave and not a huge loss if something happens to it.

The Schick Type G Injector, they give a great shave and if it is lost or damaged it can be replaced for way under $10

I am traveling right now. My Aristocrat Adjustable, a golden slim, has done its job every morning. It's a no surprises razor. I can't control the water but the razor and it's feather blade run like clockwork.
