What razor belongs with this set?

I picked this up recently. I think it's some type of gillette set, but when I bought it, there was a GEM micromatic razor in it.

What razor would have originally come with this set? Is there anything else that I'm missing other than the blade holders?

i looked everywhere..nada, maybe mismatch? can u take pic of front of case?

I ran into the same problem. The contents look very similar to all the Gillette kits I could find, but the box was different. I thought maybe it was of Gillette origins also, because the felt looks like a VERY faded version of their purple velvet, although other companies could have used that as well.


It's at home and I'm at work, but it's just a wood box, no markings of anytype. Judging by the edge, it may have once been covered in black leather, as the wood doesn't appear to have any finish. The markings left in the razor compartment suggest and open comb razor, and it's narrower than the Gem. An old type fits, but I don't know.

Oh it does have the remainder of a latch on the front. I'll try to take some pics this evening and post them.
