Have a look at mr-razors website, it's the best way to learn so no other bidders get alerted when you have to ask here. When I was buying things I had achim's website open at the same time I was browsing razors for sale

Most of the New improved had the razor guard attached to the handle like double ring and single ring OLDs. The only ones that didn't have the guard attached were the tuckaway, ie the small handled versions.

But no New improved had a standard OLD or NEW ball end full length handle
