What do you think? Pacquiao Vs Marquez

Pacman will be fighting JMM in a few weeks and although I swore, positively swore, that I would not watch it, my resolve is already crumbling. These are two such superb boxers and fighters that not watching this fight is very nearly the same as saying one doesn't enjoy boxing.

I honestly don't have an opinion on who will win this fight. I think Manny's been distracted and his focus has slipped and his hunger abated somewhat. Whether that is enough slippage for JMM to get in and outpoint or knock out Manny I can't say.

What do you all think?

it will go the distance and Manny will come out with a split decision that will rile up the commentators and crowd and we'll forget about it in 1 day, no matter how crooked modern boxing is. Personally I'm looking fwd to the fight. already looking for local bars that are showing it.
I love mid to lower weight classes. I grew up watching a lot of Mexican boxing. So sad the sport has died out a bit - I'm just happy the focus has shifted from the heavyweights.

I need to watch something while Mayweather waits for Pacquiao to turn 70.

So Ouch comes down squarely on the great "Who's dodging who debate" about Manny and Floyd. I see this thread now going to 6 or 7 pages...more if someone mentions MdC.

MdC is definitely slicker than Pacquiao and has better staying power than Mayweather

MdC is thicker than Hillary's ankles and slicker than her husband.
-custom title, circa 2008

I swore to myself that I wouldn't watch it because 4 times is just too many. After watching 24/7 on HBO though it'll probably do it's job and convince me to go watch it.

Just watched some of the highlights on YouTube. Manny dived in on the attack and he got caught with a perfectly timed shot.

Already rumours are circulating about Marquez. Honestly is he not allowed to beat Manny legitimately?

From http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/dec/09/juan-manuel-marquez-knocks-out-manny-pacquiao

"Yet the knockout finish – to a fight with no title but of worldwide interest - instantly inspired more controversy, coming as it did after speculation by Pacquaio's trainer Freddie Roach in recent weeks that the Mexican's rippling muscles might not have been all of his own making.
And there will be others who wonder where the power arrived from. Rarely in 61 fights over nearly two decades can the 39-year-old Mexican have hit so hard in one contest (he had Pacquiao down in the third with a sledgehammer right that caught him with all the suddenness of a runaway truck).
While some social media doubters sailed close to libel in their post-fight claims of chemical assistance - a charge Marquez had vehemently denied since their third fight, in November last year - it has to be said, that nobody has ever done that to Pacquiao"

This was a scary moment. Did you see the camera shot where someone's two fingers were on Manny's neck checking for a pulse before he'd regained consciousness? This was as brutal a knockout as the one that Sergio Martinez laid on Paul Williams.

Mayweather v Pacman is now pointless, regardless of which of the two use Arko and which one uses MdC.

Wow that was a short right hand! Pacman didn't see it coming.

He came in with his right hand low looking to shoot one more straight left and crunch.

many of the greats who were finally knocked out returned to the ring, but never were the same fighter they were before absorbing the knockout...
