What Did I Find, and What Do I Need to Know?

I have three questions.

I picked up this Injector today at the antique store. Can anyone tell me which model this is?

I popped the old blade out and gave it a good cleaning. The local gorcery store sells the Chinese Schick blades, so I bought a pack and loaded a fresh blade in for tomorrow morning, but I've read that sometimes loading and empty injector causes the blade to rub on the blade stops. Should I sacrifice this blade a load a new one just to be safe?

Finally, is there anything I need to be aware of in terms of aggressiveness my first time out?

I think it's a G model, ribbed handle from early 50s.
I don't see why injecting a blade into an empty razor would cause it to rub on stops. The key opens it up before the blade is.pushed through. You should be able to see it as it goes in-blade will be a mm or do away from the stops until you pull the key out.
Keep it light, keep it slow and keep the blade at a fairly lowaangle to the skin.
Good luck!

Try it and see as you will soon know if you have rubbed it against the blade stops, as it will be as sharp as a sausage, then just be carefull with the blade change
and all will be good.

Just my 2p

Yeah, you'll probably need to burn a blade. If it's your first injector I'd suggest not even trying to shave with that first blade, as you'll likely be disappointed. Wouldn't want to negatively color your perception of injectors right from the start.
