What blade do you use in your feather stainless?

Just got a feather stainless, the sharks i was using in my vintage gillettes don't work so great... what do you use in your feather stainless?

I use Polsilvers, Super Iridiums and Bolzano Superinox. Because these are very hard to procure I am looking into the Gillettes from the St Petersburg plant. So far I know that my face doesn't approve of the Yellows. I also have high hopes on the Indian Gillettes (both green and black). Unfortunately I have only located a vendor in Mumbai, India...

Most of the time I used either Feather or 7 o'clock black (India) blades.

what troubles are you having?

Feather is a very mild razor, and the prevailing wisdom around here is that you use your sharpest blades with you mildest razor. All I can tell you, based on my experience, is that the sharpest blades work best for me on my Feather razor. That would be Polsilver SI, 7 o'clock Blacks, and Med Preps.

I have only ever used Feather blades with the AS - D1 UNTIL this morning. I managed get to hold of some Super Iridiums and My goodness! My goodness!

I would have to say that it's one of the best shaves I have ever had. The smoothness of the Feather AS and the sheer ellegence of the Super Iridium blade. Absolutely bloody awesome shave. As of today, Feather takes a second spot in my top 3 blades.:thumbup:

+1. I don't have a Feather AS, but that seems to be what works. Feather probably designed it to work specifically with their blades.
