What are you doing or going this New Years Eve 2010?

Since we are in the Season of the holidays, I pose a question to the Members;

What are you doing (staying close to home with family and loved ones, dancing the night away, ect...), or going (black tie event, private party, New Years in Times Square, ect...), for this New Years Eve 2010?

Going to be in Fort Lauderdale for work. Have dinner reservations for me and the girlfriend at Himmarshee Restaurant. Very pumped to be in warmer weather.

A couple of years ago I got so drunk that I couldn't see and threw up on the subway train and subway platform on the way home. I tried to get a cab, but they would pull up next to me, take a look and speed off. Apparently I was talking to a subway card dispensing machine at one point. As in, having a conversation with it. It was the worst condition I've ever been in.

I don't know what I'm going to do this year, but rest assured that it's going to be a hell of a lot more subtle than that horrendous evening.

My cousin will have another good excuse, if any, as to why I can't visit for the Holidays, so I will probably barbecue, cook a gumbo, or do something enjoyable by myself while Father Time does his thing.

I am sure we will be going to a friends house for a party like every year. My city is invaded by tourists for New Years so we stay on the outskirts.

I hear that South Lake has a pretty good street party, right in front of the casinos.

It does. but you have to drink a ton to keep your blood from freezing.

I may ski Squaw new years day, depending on driving conditions.

Most likely the same thing as last year: Watching movies with the roommates then ringing in the new year in a deep state of meditation. Hopefully next year will wind up being the year that I wanted 2010 to be.
