Wet Cream?

It sounds like a number of the guys here load their brush by putting it directly into the puck of shave cream and giving it a few rotations, so i gave it a try. I found that it left my shave cream wet with a thin layer of water on the top. Does this ruin the cream at ?

I would really like to use this method because it seems like it would be easier, and a lot of you guys are saying it uses less product which i like, but i don't want to ruin my good cream!

Any tips/input?

I always load that way when using a tub of cream, never had any problems. The thin layer of water is usually gone by the end of my shave.

Great, thanks. I won't worry about it then. I'm about 3 weeks into my DE shaving career so i'm still worrying about the random small things.

I do this with soaps, as well. The closest I've come to using creams is croaps, and I've never had a problem loading out of the tub.

Great, thanks for the pointers. I'll stick with loading the brush that way then. I like the idea of just doing that then face lathering. Unless it's the weekend, i feel like the bowl use and clean-up takes a little too much time.

I'm also considering running to Merz today after work and getting some Castle Forbes Lime for the Spring weather coming. All the things i've heard you guys saying about it get me pretty excited to try it. Sounds great.
