I just managed to pick this up on ebay for the very reasonable price of $13.77. I've never seen a straight with a twisted tang like that before so I'll be interested to see what it's like when I get it. It looks in reasonable condition with a decent set of scales as well.

I think it might be a faux frameback a the light and angle just makes it look like it has a twisted tang. However nice score!!

Don't feel bad it's still a very nice razor at a really good price. The scales might not be original, the pins on either end look different.

That will look really good when you get it cleaned up and put a shine on it.

I wonder how it will feel in the hand when stropping and shaving. It may take a little getting used to.
