Wanted: Five guys with tough, wirey beards for an experiment

Is it hard for you to get a BBS shave? Do your whiskers kill most blades after 2-3 shaves? Yes? Then I want you! I need 5 guys with blade killing whiskers. Here's the experiment...I will send each of you one blade to use as long as it remains comfortable and provides a good shave. I would like each of you to keep track of how many shaves you get out of the blade and post in this thread. Of course any conversation about the blade or the experiment is encouraged. I will be doing the same so we will have 6 points of data to give us an insight into the durability of this blade.

I guess the blades are advertised to take on "blade killing" whiskers, that or maxzoran wants to do some science with 6 data sets. That's what I'm assuming.

The point is...my whiskers kill every blade I've tried (well over 30) in 1-3 shaves except this specific blade. I want to see how they work for other guys with a similar experience. As startreking said, I'm doing some science.

Or just tell us what brand it is now? Can't think of a reason as to why you'd need to be secretive about that.

It isn't scientific if there are preconceived notions about the results. Telling the brand would introduce the placebo effect.

Should be fairly safe to assume he told the "lab rats" what kind (DE, SE, injector, etc.) it is, as he has not opened up anymore slots for testing.

I volunteered but haven't heard anything else....yet. Maybe he's busy and hasn't had time to get everything ready. My whiskers will still be here.

My beard is not very dense/full but my whiskers are like suspension bridge cables and they just annihilate blades. The only two blades I get more than three shaves from are Bluebirds and 7 O'clock blacks with over 10 on Bluebirds and around 7-8 on Blacks. Most other blades I can get one or two good shaves, three is almost out of the question.

I would like to see the reveal as well.
