Wade & Butcher Question

Anyone know what kind of Wade & Butcher this is? What's it worth if it's shave ready? I don't use straights and I'm looking to post this in the BST soon. I would like some feedback so I can be fair and informed when I sell this. Thanks in advance.

a better shot of the blade and tang stamp would be helpful. The other thing is that if you normally don't use straights maybe there is a reason you have it now.. time to try something new:lol:

I'll have to take some better pictures. I know what you mean, but that razor does nothing for me. :tongue_sm

Can you clarify what you mean when you say "what kind of Wade and Butcher"?
I guess I meant the width/grind and anything else I'd need to know.

It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks a decent size blade. Anywhere from 6/8 to 15/16 would be my guess.

I doesn't look like a wedge.

I had one that looked almost exactly like that one. It was a 7/8, 1/4 hollow ground blade. It was one of the best blades I ever shaved with.

Can you measure the distance between the spine and edge? That will tell you the width.
Can you take a frontal photo of the blade? That will tell you the grind. If it's a perfect V then it's a wedge, if it's narrower than that, it depends of the hollowness, but no W&B is a true full hollow, they're quarter or half hollows.
