W&B no 150. Restoration & Honing Request

Hey there, I know there's quite a few gents around the forum that offer a restoration and honing service. I'd be happy to pay for someone that is up to the task. Feel free to respond here or in DM. If it matters, I'm based in California FWIW.

There are a few guys here that could sort that out in short order, and do a good job.

Seems in fairly good shape though. Why not have a crack at it yourself? All the info is here.

I'm in the Marine Corps and I'm moving around a lot at the moment. Once I get to my permeant duty station and find a house + apartment I'll pick up some hones and other equipment needed to get keep my new Ralf Aust and vintage W&B in nice order.

A nice little restoration project for someone the razor should make a decent shaver, post-1880s Wade & Butcher. You could just polish it up hone it and use it first before you decide on having it restored.

Fair enough.

@Doc226 comes pretty highly recommended. Do you have a strop and something to touch up the edge when it fades?

I appreciate the recommendation, thank you. I'll reach out to Doc. I have a Latigo strop, nylon webbing from Mountain Mike. I'm going to pick up some chromium oxide soon.
