Voshkod surprise

So when I ordered some Agua Lavanda Puig , I saw these blades and thought I had read some decent comments about them so at $1.25 I ordered them. So when they came I loaded a Voshkod into my 1948 Aristocrat with which I like to test blades, whipped up the Panna Crema and-----what a nice manageable blade, Not Feather, closer to my fave , Crystal. No roughness , a smooth cutter, my chin whiskers slowed it down but it sang a good note and allowed a darn good shave with no cuts, weepers, or irritation The perfect Crat shave.I have a fairly coarse tough beard and the Voshkods did the job well on the 1st shave. I'll see how the second goes. Give 'em a shot.:001_smile

They have been in my top 5 for a couple years now. I think I have 500 +/- of them around here.

For sometime now, Voskhods are my one & only 'go-to' blade.

I
found this blade to be 'awesome', forgiving and perfect with no pulling or tugging, very, very smooth, (albeit a 'weeper' now & then..but zero 'nicks'), no irritation and/or razor burn that %99.9 of the time results in CCS's in 3 passes (WTG, CTG & ATG), with 2 great shaves per blade (I shave every-other day with Saturdays as my shaving 'day off'),...and are very compatible with both of my Merkur 23C & 38C razors. :yesnod:
