Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I think that I have one to challenge the experts. I have a excellent plus to near mint condition Gillette Safety Razor. It has the pat Nov, 15 04 stamp on the lower handle. It has the 1904/1906 head but with the ball end on the handle. The original cardboard box has the model 503B on it. What appears to be a serial number on the blade holder and also shown on the bottom of the box is the letter "N" and then about an half inch to the right of the letter is the numbers 61421. This has a knurled handle and ball end, gold-toned, gold-toned metal container with red velvet lining and a navy blue cloth case for the metal case. It is missing the draw string. Made In USA is stamped everywhere. The top on the 4" x 2" gold metal case has scrollwork around the top edges with a slightly raised smooth solid rectangular section in the middle. (Reminds me of an area used for engraving). The set comes with a plain 2" long gold-toned metal container for storing razor blades, 3" long single ring handle. The threaded part of the handle is hour glass shaped with ball end. The curved comb blade holder has three holes. The hole in the center is for the curved solid holder with a thread stud in the center that screws onto the handle. The side view of the blade holders has a solid soft arch. No notches or turn downs. Can anyone date this for me? Any history?
