I was at an "antique" show today and made a few scores. I've posted them in the Score thread. But I have a question as I'm so new at this. The guy had a couple of razors that you wind up ( twist the bottom of the handle) and they vibrated. They had a very heavy and thick handle and I thought the idea was a ,, well,,, hoot! I'm sure it was a novelty thing but are they actually worth anything?
He also had a few of what looked like pencil sharpeners in original boxes that were advertised as sharpening DE blades. Here too , are they worth anything .
I ask simply because I'm sure someone here has an answer and I haven't been able to find too much out about them. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places or don't know where to look.
If nothing else, I think they'd be fun to have considering the prices he was asking. It'd be neat with the rest of my stuff as razors and their accessories that were available throughout time. Just might complete the picture of razors that I seem to be assembling as a " this was available at the time as well" sort of thing.
Or am I just nuts about all that is available?
