Has anyone tried it? I'm on a vetiver kick right now and I was thinking of ordering this and L'Occitane Vetyver

Encre Noire is my favorite vetiver. I've tried Syncomore which I know is the same but that note in the opening kills it for me. I have the original Gurlane Vetiver and TdH. I've heard that I should at some point check out Original Vetiver and Grey Vetiver.
EN is a dark, smokey scent. It's made with Iso E Super (also found in TdH) and and earthy vetiver accord with some woods. OV and GV are opposite ends of the spectrum. Very fresh, clean scents. They are both great. Along with those, I recommend you try the following:
Earthy: MPG Route du Vetiver, Lorenzo Villoresi Vetiver
Green and Grassy: Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire, Dior Vetiver
Earthy: MPG Route du Vetiver, Lorenzo Villoresi Vetiver

That's interesting that you mentioned Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire and Dior Vetiver as I've wanted to try both. I'm not a fan of Malle's huge price tag however. I don't think I've seend Dior Vetiver for some time also.
I like the L"Occitane Vetiver it has some pepper to my nose. You also said you like Encre Noir so try Chanel Sycomore which is similar but nicer IMHO.

Any idea where I could buy either? Amazon lists Dior Vetiver for $400!!!
I like and love both Chanel's Sycomore and Malle's Vetiver Extraordinaire but don't find either of them as interesting as many others. I like Encre Noire much better than either of them and it's considerably less expensive. The Creed vetivers are indeed fresh - I like to call them soapy - and have a green-amber drydown - but they are nice frags all the same. I'll second the recommendations for Route de Vetiver and LV Vetiver as well. I'd also recommend trying some of the other more extreme vetivers that are extremely earthy and smoky - like Profumum Fumidus.
L'artisans Sacred Vetiver is a beautifully crafted soft vetiver.
royall lyme vetiver is nice.
I have this stuff too. It's decent especially for the price
My two favorite Vetiver scents are Malizia Vetiver and Creed Original Vetiver
malizia costs 20 bucks and to this day is my all time favorite fragrance. Wore it all through high school and still has a special place in my heart to this day

Malizia Vetiver is available for $15 from IB. It will be included within my next order for sure.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised.. It's certainly no Creed or Tom Ford fragrance but I think its fantastic. A very common brand in Italy supposedly.. I literally always have a bottle in my rotation
