And it was a fantastic day one at that. I followed up with the Nivea Sensitive ASB. What does everyone typically pair with Valobra as an AS?

Valobra makes two kinds of soap (1) a hard triple-milled shaving soap stick and (2) a shaving cream/soap (think either hard cream or soft soap).
The stick is more or less unscented, but I think it smells a little bit like vanilla ice cream. The cream/soap comes in two "flavors: almond oil and menthol. I haven't tried the cream/soap, but I hear it is quite nice.
Valobra, in my opinion, is very similar to the solid performing vintage tallow soaps such as Yardley and Old Spice.
