Using Tarn x opinions please

I have a Gold Gillette Tech with a tarnished head. Generally speaking under normal circumstances if I use tarnx as recommended will there be a problem? Thanks!!

I have used TarnX on many Silver Plated Razors.

It works fantastically on silver, it's quick and clean and doesn't involve boiling.

However, over exposure is not good. A few seconds, check, a few seconds check and rinse thoroughly.

Gold Razors are a different animal all together and I probably would not use TarnX on a Gold Plated razor.

On gold plated razors I have used the scrubbing bubbles and liquid Comet with good success. Again, over exposure can result in the laquer turning reddish.

If I have a Gold Razor with good plating but badly worn laquer, I do the Easy Off Oven Cleaner soak which completely removes the laquer alltogether.
