Unscented Aftershave Balms

I need some recomendations folks, I very much prefer a balm over a splash on aftershave especialy in the winter time. I am looking for something that works great but is unscented so it will not clash with colognes when I decide to wear them. Right now I am using Aqua Velva and Nivea Balm. Love them both, jusk looking for something unscented to have on hand also.

Thanks everyone - Superspot

Feather's Kanwa ASB. It feels more like a gel, but performs very well and is unscented. I used it today after shaving with English Fern, and the Fern scent is shining through, unhindered.

For the dry, winter weather I like the AOS unscented balm a lot. It's a fairly heavy, lotion-like consistency - very protective. At $38 it is expensive, but a little bit goes a long, long way. I've been using the same bottle for just over year, although not exclusively. I would estimate I would have gotten 9 or 10 months out of it shaving 3 days a week.

Because I have very sensitive skin, I spent a long time searching for a good unscented balm, and finally gave up. Now, I use a high-end moisturising cream that was recommended by a dermatologist. It works great.

I like the Nivea Sensitive ASB. It doesn't seem to have a scent. Are you using the regular Nivea?

+100. I used Kanwa for the first time the other day. I want to have it's babies. Quick absorption, non-greasy, VERY light initial herbal scent, disappeared by the time I got it applied to the face. I bought the travel size from Classic Shaving, and think that I might pick up the big bottle in the future.

Oh, and it felt GOOD.

Anthony's Fragrance Free Aftershave Balm. You can buy it at Sephora in your local mall. Works extremely well. Initial light mint scent, then fades to nothing. Relatively cheap at $20 a bottle.

It's not quite fragrance free, but there is no particular scent to speak of with LEA. It just smells like an "unscented" lotion to me to me. It won't clash with anything.

Sorry. I assumed that it was not available in the US where most B&Bers dwell. I just poked around on the web, and I was wrong. It is this:

http://www.amazon.com/Roche-Posay-Toleriane-Soothing-Protective-Skincare/dp/B000IOBEQ2

It's wonderful stuff, but very pricey. I get it for 11 euros on the web, and consider it expensive, but 22 bucks for 40ml!!!?? Yikes!

I certainly tried Nivea Sensitive, but found the smell to be rather strong. Maybe it is formulated differently for the European market.

Though very pricy ($40 a bottle) I am liking the unscented version of the balm sold by The Gentlemen's Refinery.

The price may be a bit deceiving because it is a pretty decent sized bottle and I am finding one pump, sometimes two, on the pump nozzle will cover my entire face. And I have a big ugly face. :001_smile I am thinking this bottle will last me a good long time.

Loreal men's expert. Doesn't have much of a smell to it but once it dries there is no smell at all. The good thing is that it's only $6 at your local stores and works like a dream. Smell it next time you are at a store and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I like the Proraso ASB (milky bottle). I know that you said ASB without odor but I find that this ASB smell to be citric in origin, and does not have real staying power at all. This ASB does not affect my cologne.
