Today my package from Barbiere di Figaro arrive (See here)
Eric sent me a sample of two different TFS soaps that have yet to be released (in fact they don't even have a name yet).
So here are some lathering pics of the two soaps. I used my Rooney Beehive 1, and bowl lathered. Then I shaved a small area of my face with my Le Grelot.
First up is the "Fresh" soap. It has a nice clean, minty smell. Reminds me of Santa Maria Novella, but it does not have the cooling sensation.

Very slick, thick, wonderful lather. Can't wait to try facelathering this (prefer it over bowl lathering). The shave was nice with my Le Grelot (I did rush it a bit so I could try the other soap).
Next is the "Cannella" Soap. It has a wonderful cinnamon scent, and reminds me of Big Red.

Same lather as with the "Fresh", absolutely fantastic. Shave was easy with my Le Grelot.
In conclusion:
I cannot wait to give these soaps a full try, this was just a quick test. Personally I prefer the "Fresh" over the "Cannella" mainly because I prefer fresher scents for shaving.
I will definitely be grabbing myself a jar of the fresh once Barbiere di Figaro starts to sell it. So hopefully Eric hurries up
