What's new

UK website low(!) price on erasmic

judging by recent reviews, and how it ranks highly on many users "worst soap I've ever used" list, I'd guess that price is about right

Hard to beat for that kinda money. Might still be too much, though I would jump at it if they offered free shipping as well.

They've got to have made a mistake!
1p is impossible for a shave stick no matter how crappy!

I'm tempted

My guess is that the seller has a hard time selling these; especially now Erasmic is making a tallow version again AFAIK. He probably just wants to clear his shop from this product ASAP and take his loss.

I think Talibeard's got the right idea, plus, the traffic the website is getting as people puzzle over the impossibly low prices can't hurt.

If this is the non-tallow form of the Erasmic Shaving Stick it is a worthless product at any price.

It simply can't be used for it's intended purpose of shaving as it won't generate anything approaching an adequate stable lather.

Even if it were free, it will still be 100% useless for it's intended purpose.

Yep I emailed Erasmica few days back and they responded that the original tallow formula is back but I should check the label for a while as old stock is still out there...but it probably does make decent cheap hand soap!

In my opinion, it most certainly wouldn't make the best hand soap. The non-tallow Erasmic stick has a really strange consistency. If you attempt to cut it, or mill it, it literally crumbles into a fine sand like powder.

I personally would much rather have the tallow based Palmolive bath soap that I can get 3 bars for $1 at my local dollar store, than this horrific product.

I thought the one I bought must have been frozen or something. That is exactly what it does. When I smear the bits in my hand and on my face I can get it to lather when superlathered with a bit of their cream (which I really like).

Ive got a couple of unused original tallow sticks if anyone wants to swap for something.
I'm happy to post first and wait til they arrive. Im based in UK by the way.
Ive also got a couple of Palmolive sticks, same offer.
