Tula?

Does anybody know anything about a straight razor brand by the name of "Tula"?

I have one of this, a 5/8 I believe with a checkered etching on the face with "Tula" right in there. I have never heard of the name, but I saw on SRP a SOTD posting of a Tula.

I'll try and get some pics up later.

Maybe it belonged to Caroline Cossey?, before the operation!!

I do not know if this helps at all, Tula is very old Russian/USSR armament factory. It has a very long celebrated history. I do not know what all they made there maybe they have made straight razors too.
