I've only been able to smell the bath soap through the box, but I think it's different from the cologne. The cologne is a recent addition to the Trumper catalogue, and the scent was created new for it. As far as I know, the bath soap pre-dates it, which indicates it's a different scent. Interestingly, the sandalwood shower gel smells identical to the cologne, if memory serves. Same goes for the sandalwood Skin Food.
The soap has a dryer scent while the cologne is a little sweeter. It is similar but different. I think the cologne and the cream are closer in scent than the soap.

Sometimes the same proprietary scent used in different carriers (e.g., cologne, shaving cream, soap, etc.) can take on slightly different natures. But in the case of Trumper Sandalwood, I am aware of at least three distinctly different sandalwood scents they are using. The scent used in the cologne (which, as I mentioned, is also in the shower gel and Skin Food) is distinct from the scent used in the cream, which is distinct from the scent used in the shaving soap. That isn't to say the scents don't complement each other, but if you get one product thinking you're getting the same scent as in one of the others, you could wind up disappointed. I don't know which of the three scents is used in the bath soap, or if there is even a fourth one they're using for it.
