Travelling- Carry On Bag Tips

For me, the main thing about traveling (by air) with any of my shaving kit is that whatever I carry, I must be prepared to loose it. For that reason, I pack a $2 brush, $2 all SS shavette, about a 20mm stick of Palmolive shave soap and a 90ml bottle of my cheap but good AS.

Even carts are not "safe" to travel with. An over zealous airport security officer in Vietnam once decided that he needed it more than I did.

I’m traveling next week, and sent a couple of blades in advance to my hotel. I‘ll take my travel razor, a Fatip MK1, in my shirt pocket, put it in the white bin on the conveyer belt, and educate another TSA agent about how three-piece DE razors work. (And I’ve got a spare in my den, just in case...) I should be all set, once again!
