Traveling with a Straight Razor

Hello,

I'm currently shaving with a Feather DX. Would I be able to put this in my carry on? What are the TSA restrictions, if any, on straight razors?

Also, does anybody know of a place that would have some NOS on the Feather RG Japanese sytle?

I think you would be able to travel with the razor in your carry on, but not the blades. These you would have to pack in your checked luggage or send to your destination beforehand.

If it has a blade in it, they will likely take it. Not worth finding out the hard way, IMO. Perhaps mailing a blade to yourself at your destination is an option?

Id get something else to travel with. You lose a dx because of some tsa guy who doesnt know and that'll be sadness.

Agree 100%. Either sent it ahead, pack in luggage and check it or shave with a Mach 3 for the time away.
