Topaz vs. Topaz

Recently performed a dozen shaves with 4 Topaz blades ,2 Sputtered Platinum ,and 2 Stainless.Razors used were 66 Superspeed and a British Parat.12 different creams and soaps were used to test these 2 blades.Several years ago I posted my thoughts on the Topaz blades from China, not counterfeits, but an authorized product. They were the worst blades I have ever tried (see photos below)....The stainless costs less than the Platinum, but I actually got just as good a shave from it,as I got from the Platinum.I got 3 nice shaves from each blade,no cuts or nicks. You don't see these all that often, but if you find them as cheap as let's say "Sharks",then I will say they are a good economy buy.

No,the 2 varieties from India will give you at least 3 good shaves per blade, that's not bad,so if you found them for around $10-12 per 100,I would buy them for sure. The Chinese blade avoid at all costs !

Great review Malocchio!

I personally have only tried the blue box and found it to be a decent shave as you mentioned.. no complaints so far..

tried the yellow one as well . Both had almost equal shaves, a quality blade.

Myself i never push a blade more than 2 shaves (3 if im in a risky mood) so at this price range i like these alot.
