TOBS Soaps

It's funny that there isn't much discussion on Taylor of Old Bond Street soaps. I've been using their lavander for a while now, and I find it better than D.R.Harris Arlington in terms of lather density and slickness. Am I alone?

I would like to see their wooden bowls branded like their competitors.

I am also a fan of TOBS soaps. Try the sandalwood. It is awesome !!!

So its not only me. Since they're less discussed, I always imagined that they were of lesser quality, but its not the case.

The TOBS shaving soaps are quite nice. And they do seem quite under appreciated. I find that my results with TOBS are comparable to what I would expect with DR Harris. However, for me, DR Harris can be a bit particular about the water/soap ratio whereas TOBS is much more forgiving and accommodating in this regard. And to refresh my memory of TOBS, I pulled out the Lavender this morning and it was another great shave. It never disappoints. Nice slick, dense, and protective lather. Builds easily. And leaves my face feeling good afterwards.
