TOBS rose shaving cream question

Hi gentlemen.
Does the TOBs rose shaving cream come in 2 different colors/smells?
the reason i'm asking is because about 6 months ago I bought a tub of it and the color was red and it smelled like a beautiful rose scent. Now i just bought another Tub from the same vendor and the color is a very light pink, and it smells different than my other tub.

Is it possible that you might have gotten Geo F Trumper and TOBS mixed up?
I ask because I've tried several of the TOBS creams (great stuff BTW) and had not noticed any color other than white for TOBS.
GFT actually colors their creams and have an identical designed tub.

I think TOBS might be coloring theirs now as well. I just received both a sandalwood and a lavender a couple of days ago. The sandalwood is the normal off white color, the lavender is a very defined purple. However, looking at older pictures online of TOBS lavender cream, it looks white.

Nope They are both TOBS. same packaging, same ingredients...

The tubs I bought in late 2010 and 2011 were both light pink. They both smelled the same, but the consistency was different. My first tub was very loose and the second tub was firmer. I'm still using the one from 2011, but will probably switch to T&H Rose when the TOBS is gone. I liked the samples of T&H creams, especially Rose.

Same hear... Roe formulation? Or did they just get cheap with the dye?

Beats me... You could always email TOBS and ask.... They might get to you one day lol
