this is not to be intended to render other posts, which address this problem useless or even wrong...this is only an observation I made recently,
which may help against th"my Slim has a door problem" related stress syndrom
There two other cause-effect-chains, which cause (and whatelse should such a chain do otherwise... ) the doors to open/close asynchronously.
The first one is: The handle of the Slim is not held in parallel to the vector of earths gravity field when opening/closing the doors.
The second one: Hidden in the little holes to which the mechanism of the endcaps connect there is some limescale.
Before you start bending parts of your razor...
Limescale can easily be removed with some Neutral Universal All Purpose cleaner used pure.
