Timor Blades

I ordered a 200 pack from overseas. After 2 blades, this is the blade for me. Seriously good shaves, no irritation, stay sharp.

I see 400 more being ordered VERY soon. Anybody know of a cheap source for em?

Have not found cheap source yet. Agree with you about the blade being good. Is a little pricey. That is all relative if you like the blade. Let us know if you find a discounter.

If you don't mind me asking: what did you pay for the 200?

I purchased from shaving.ie, so whatever their going rate. Side note...their shipping to texas is faster than mailing something within texas!

Timor blades are great in my fatboy (but curiously not so good in my feather popular). Only thing that beats them are NOS blades from the golden era.

Shaving.ie is probably the cheapest place available. Timors are great blades. Similar to souplex in my humble opinion. :shaving:

yes...I was really surprised at the quality, even though they cost a little more than most blades..I got 6 really close and very smooth shaves from these...

I usually get 5 shaves...first with the fatboy set at 3, second two shaves at 5, fourth at 7 and last shave at 9.
These are the only current production blades I have tried that can give me a nick and irritation free shave on a setting above 3-4 on the fatboy.

Sharper than Souplex, if you ask me. I like the Timor quite a bit better than Souplex.

Funny how opinions vary on the same subject. At my first strokes (WTG) I too thought they were rather similar and maybe the Timors a tad sharper. But they aren't, at least not in my experience. Though they last longer, the Timors don't give me the same close shave in the same number of passes as the Souplex and come short in comfort at the ATG passes. There is a bit of tugging there, typical for less sharper blades, that Souplex certainly doesn't have.

After I tried a couple of Timors I started piffing them and placed another order for the Souplex blades.
