Is the plant picture meant to imply "stoned"?

While I can't understand why anyone after seeing the DE light, would return to a Mach 3 piece of poo, I don't think it is in keeping with the gentlemanly spirit of this board to insult them.

In my opinion, the Mach 3/ Fusion are some of the worst razors ever made. Extra blades beyond two did nothing but cause extra irritation/ ingrown hairs, and make the resulting cartridge sell for a much higher price premium.

The Sensor was the last good cartridge razor made.

A "plant" is an enemy spy, who tries to appear to be one of those targeted. I suspect true "plants" today would be touting Fusion, not Mach 3.

Going back to DE after 39 years of Trac II solved my ingrown hair and irritation problems. Now, not only can I shave every day, but I can shave CLOSE every day! IMO, there is no good multi-blade cartridge.

If cartridges work well for someone, I have no issues with that. I use them, including the dreaded Mach 3, when I need to hurry through a shave and can't go unshaven (and no, I don't plan my life around my shaves). They get the job done and as long as I have a good lather and don't use pressure, I get a good, irritation-free shave. I like using my DE razors better, though.

Wetshaving as I understand it doesn't say you must use a specific type of razor, just water, soap or cream, and a brush (if you're not using a brushless cream). Put down the pitchforks, folks.

I understand the concept of a plant, someone placed by a company being bashed, to attempt to talk up a product.

However, it seemed more logical that the O.P. was implying they were stoned. lol. Even though the picture in question was not that of a marijuana plant.:lol:

my apologies if this was taken as an offense. I meant to to poke fun at all those Mach3 threads... a jovial spirit is not foreign to a gentleman, and yes I meant plants.:001_tt2:

This has always been my understanding as well. Heck, I even think shaving with canned goo is wetshaving, I mean you wet your face, apply goo, and use water to rinse throughout the shave.
