Thinking about starting to make my own soaps

Hello gents,

I was thinking about starting to make my own high quality shaving soaps. Any recipes I should look into or stay away from? Any tips and tricks? I was thinking about making them with a base of unrefined shea butter and maybe some cocoa butter. Are there any good resources I should look into for the soap making process?
