. Picked this up a few weeks ago and just got around to trying it out. I would have preferred the heavy handled model but this one shaves very nice.BBS 3 pass shave very similar to my pre-war tech.

In my limited DE shaving experience, I find English Techs to be excellent razors. I have several inherited from my father and grandfather plus a few that I have picked up on the journey. One of the best that I inherited from my father was an English Sportsman Tech. That's what I think it is. Absolutely fantastic razor.

I too really like Techs, mostly post-war US ones which fit my mild tastes perfectly. However recently I also got an original British fat handle (I assume same head as yours). So far I have only shaved with it once and it seemed a little rougher than the others. Your post makes me convinced I need to try it out again tomorrow.
Would make a great comparison to my shave this morning which was done with an AS-D2, the modern Tech
