There aren't that many reviews of this new soap so I figured I'd post one up for people who are contemplating purchasing some of their products.
Scent (9/10): Baker Street has a light fragrance, but it smells great. Think 4711, but without so much zip. It smells a little citrusy with a nice herb, almost musky finish.
Lather (9/10): I sprinkled a little water on the soap before I got in the shower and let it soak. I don't know if this is really necessary because the soap is already quite soft, but I do it out of habit. The soap is firmer than cella, but still has some give. It produced more than enough lather without any effort at all.
Slickness (9/10): Great slickness, the blade sliced through the whiskers with no problems.
Cushion (7/10): Maybe the only area where I think the soap could use just a little improvement. I still got a great shave with it, but the soap didn't have the same cushion that soaps like Mike's have. I think it might have to do with the lack of tallow in the soap, but it didn't offer the same protection.
Value (15/10 on sale, 8/10 regular price): I bought the puck during the initial sale (name your own price over $2) so it was a great deal and right now they are having another name your own price sale (any price you want to pay over $4). If you'd like to give the soap a trial run, now is the time to do it. The standard price for their soap is $9.95 (plus $1.95) for a metal tin. This puts it right in the ballpark of other artisan soaps.
Overall (9.8/10 on sale, 8.4/10 regular price): I'd recommend giving the soap a try, especially if you are a vegan looking for a high quality shave soap, their soaps contain no animal products yet still work great.
I also bought their Bay Rum soap, but I'll save that for another review.
