The smell of trust?

Ok. . . there was a thread a few days ago. . . if I may paraphrase "what is the smell of a CAD"

So . . . now I'd like to know. What do you think is the smell of a trustworthy good steward? I'd like to think I am one of these people.

Where do I go from here? I think it is fair to say you either are or are not trustworthy . . . no perfume will change a fact. I have the idea that the scent I'm after is not one that clubs one over the head . . . something subtle . . .

I've liked Grey Flannel and Green Irish Tweed but never owned a bottle. On the cheap and cheerful side I'm a big AV, and Lilac Veg fan.

What do you think? Suggestions?

I would think that a female would find more feminine smells trustworthy.............probably less threatening, but maybe not the trust you are looking for.

Anything that doesn't smell too hip, trendy or slick. I think more "classic" scents. By this I mean tried and true scents that don't show you have anything to prove. Something that smells pretty clean, isn't obnoxious with any sharp notes and makes people feel comfortable. I think there are many that fit this description.

The fact that you like the Veg immediately shows that you are wholly untrustworthy. As such, I cannot suggest that you pick up English Fern

Asked the missus and she immediately replied Grey Flannel.

I can see why. This scent is nothing flashy and just smells clean and comfortable.

To me it just smells like a nice soap and makes you smell like you just got out of the shower. They should rename it something like "Shower Fresh" or "Shower Clean." That's got a ring...Shower Cleene by Geoffrey Beene

Since I'm wearing Blenheim Bouquet today and trust myself, I've got to say Blenheim Bouquet smells like trust.

Awwwww . . . the veg untrustworthy? You are going to hurt my feelings. :c5:

On the other hand English Fern sounds promising.

If you could find out what Bernard Madoff used, try that. He pulled off the trustworthy good steward thing for many years.
