The Real Shaving Co. on sale $2.99 @ Rite Aid

The Real Shaving Co. cream is on sale at Rite Aid. If they are out, they will give rainchecks.

It's been on sale for awhile, but we had assumed the sale price was due to it being a discontinued item....that is interesting that they are providing rain-checks, as that would seem to indicate the item hasn't been discontinued by Rite Aid. humm...:confused1

I'm pretty sure the cream has been reformulated, not discontinued. As I said before, I've already seen what I believe to be the reformulated version in a Duane Reade drugstore recently. I have no idea whether or not RiteAid will eventually carry the reformulated version, which is what you would presumably get when you redeem the raincheck. It's always a possible that the clerk who issued the raincheck simply didn't know what they were doing and the RSC line will no longer be sold there. You'd have to speak with RiteAid HQ to figure that out. In any case, if you are near a Duane Reade drugstore, you can get the reformulated version of the RSC cream there. If the new RSC stuff does show up at my local RiteAid, I will pick up a tube and post my thoughts.

I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on the new formula vs. the old. I get great results from the original.

I was in Rite-Aid and see they still have the shelves still stocked for $2.99.
I had already purchased three tubes thinking it was a closeout but looks like I was wrong.
I use this cream and a brush with excellent results.
At $2.99 this cream is a really good deal.

Probably allergic to something in the ASB. I passed on buying it myself because it contains lanolin, which I would prefer not to have in my shave products.
