What's new

The pen I am most surprised to like so much is...

...the Kaweco Ice Sport. To look at it, it seems like a gimmicky plastic pen, but it is one of the best writers I have. The size when posted is just right. It's a little light in hand, but that is not noticeable to me when writing. The steel nib is very smooth, and even writes without feathering or show through on Moleskine paper. I wish they offered a converter, and am instead locked into their cartridges, but the Kaweco ink is pretty darned good.

I got moves like Jagger
The Kaweco Sport is my workhorse at the office. I just use a blunt syringe to refill a cartridge with my desired ink instead of buying their carts.

I PIF'ed the one I had a while ago, decided to order another. It came yesterday. I am going to set it up as an eyedropper which I have not done to that pen ever, and fill it with Liberty's Elysium.

Love the sports. Have a few of them floating around... For those of youse who make it to a pen show. Swisher pens usually has a bucket full of them on display. at 5 bucks it's hard to go wrong

Funny. I was poking around eBay and was looking at these just the other day.
i'm looking for one to keep at the office. I'm too scared to leave my 51 special there.

I have never tried one and cant figure out why i havent. I just always seem to forget to pick one up everytime i make an order.

Bob,

Kaweco should accept generic 'international' carts, based on the MB standard.

If you like the nib, it is common to other Kaweco pens. It screws in, and so is easily interchangeable.

Nice writing pens, especially after rattling around with your change and keys in the bottom of your pants pocket.

And he had the aluminum ones for $10 but I'm sorry to say that Chuck Swisher threw in the towel, along with Pear Tree Pens, and most recently Pam Braun. (I think I bought her last Pelikan).

I'm a big fan of them. The one thing I dislike is the clip ... too loose on the pen body and too tight for ease of putting in and out of pockets ... annoying. But otherwise, they are great, and eyedroppered they hold a lot of ink!
