What's new

The mail just arrived....

Though I've finally really eased off on the RAD (no, really! :w00t:), I still get a few packages a week in the mail. Today I got two, (okay, three, one was a blade box, can never have too many of those). Each of the other two contained '40's Style Super Speeds (each from 1953). One looks very nice as is, a 5 minute cleaning will do the trick. The other looks really nasty as is, but I think it'll clean up to be very nice as well.

Thing is, I bought each for the case they came in (and yes, I may have over paid, but I needed those cases!). Finally, a decent home for Ike, my '53 President (bought two others, one used until now is too nasty, the other that housed a President I thought destined to be evicted, well... turns out that President was much nicer that I'd thought, just didn't have the heart to boot him!).

The other is in a nice Big Fellow case, and with the case I got last week, makes complete cased sets for all of my Big Fellows (this one, like last week's arrival and one other, will need a bit of glue as the parts are separating, but being a professional Carpenter has it's benefits when dealing with wood cases :wink2:).

You know easing off is a 12 step program. You're only at step 7. :a7:

geez, and I thought my RAD was outta control. I more or less stopped once I hit 11 or 12. once I found my go to razor I decided I didn't need anything else, that and if the wife knew how much I was spending on razors she'd ring my neck.
