The legend of Trumpers Continues!

I started wetshaving about one year ago and I have to say it has been an awesome journey so far! I love badger brushes and DE razors. But most of all I love all the different scents you can choose from when it comes to shaving cream! I had been reading a lot of reviews on trumpers creams and soaps and today was my first shave with trumpers coconut oil cream. Lets say that the reviews were bang on! This stuff shaves like a dream! I have the sample pack and I cant wait to try sandalwood!

I just received a tub last week. I was in love with Truefit's lavendar but this stuff makes lather like whipped cream. It's my daily shaving cream.

I thought I was going to love Truefit and hill but after buying 1805 I slowly have stopped.I think T&H make great shaving creams, dont get me wrong. Its the smell thats putting me off a little, its getting tiresome. I think Trumpers and Proraso is going to be my best rotation

T&H certainly makes other scents besides 1805, so you don't necessarily need to write them off entirely. Still, in Trumper's Coconut, I think you've found one of the truly great shaving creams on the market.

I'm really digging Trumper's Violet cream at the moment after getting it in the sample pack. Seriously, this stuff makes me want to dump all my other soaps and creams and use it exclusively.

With free shipping currently at The English Shaving company, I'm really tempted to pull the trigger on a tub. My wife would kill me, but this might be a case of "easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission"...

I also agree that the coconut and the violet creams from them are just outstanding! Very few (if any) better creams.

I've settled on their creams almost exclusively. After my initial experimentation phase, I realized I was more of a cream guy than a soap guy. Furthermore, I never found creams I liked as much as Trumpers. I just finished off a tub of their Limes cream (the only wet shaving product I've actually used up). I also have a tub of their Almond and just ordered a tub of their Coconut cream. I received a sampler of their creams a long time ago and those were my favorites. I didn't like their Sandalwood scent, though, for some reason. I've never tried their Violet or Rose creams. I'm positive I wouldn't like their Rose cream - rose scents are just not for me, I know that much from sampling other rose products. I'm a little curious about their Violet, though.

On the website they picture having violet in their sample pack but I got GFT instead. I wish I would have gotten violet to try. I am so curious about that cream. Ive smelled rose but violet? that must smell so unique. I mean who else even makes a scent like that!

Once again trumpers knows their stuff!!

@stellarfly: I am fortunate enough to live in Charlottesville, VA, home of Londons Bathecary. I went today and sampled literally every single Trumper's, T&H, and Taylor's cream. I sniffed a little at Trumper's Violet today, and I have to say that I was expecting a lot more. It was slightly generic. Don't get me wrong. It smells great, but it's really just not all that. I would say it's indeed comparable to Taylor's Lavender, which kind of surprised me. More mellow, though. I don't know. It's nice but not earth-shattering.
