The "It's about time! PIF

Hello all,

I have been on this forum for over almost 2.5 years now and have been the recipient of a few PIFs, most recently from the sabbatical thread (Q4). I have always thought, "Gee, I should really do a PIF soon" but have never gotten around to it.

Now it is time to remedy that. Therefore I am putting together this simple PIF and it only has two rules:

1. Conus only - sorry international but it is easier to ship within the US only as I can just drop off the packages at a local kiosk instead of going to the actual post office.

2. You actually want the stuff - These are not high end items and can be had relatively cheap.

I have two different PIFs and they are as follows:

PIF A -

• Feather Portable - Has been used a few times, but otherwise in great condition
• Black Omega 10049 Professional - Used (was a PIF to me)
• 2 ARKO sticks - New
• 5 shark Super Stainless blades
• 5 Derby Extra Blades

PIF B

• GEM Micromatic Clog Proof - User grade but functional - Was a PIF from a long time ago and has not been used in a long time
• Restored Brush with Whipped Dog Finest knot - Restored by me about 2 years ago and used on an infrequent regular basis
• 2 ARKO sticks - New
• 6 Remaining SE blades in container - All of the SE blades I have (1 used blade is in container)

All used items will need to be cleaned & sterilized by the receiver (I would like to clean them more, but do not have the time).

How will the recipients be selected you ask? Since these are basic entry level items, it will be on a first come first serve strategy. The first person to say they want it will get their choice of A or B; second person will get the remaining lot. Please respond in the thread instead of my PMs so I don't have to match up times.

Seriously? you are criticizing a member for their generosity because you didn't get it in time. Feel free to create your own PIF with your own rules, but I know of 1 member I'll be excluding from any of my future PIFs

great PiF CZ with some great items....congrats to the lucky recipients.

Perhaps you misunderstood. I was lamenting that I am too slow for these quick PIF's( Not the generosity of it) And actually I am preparing my own PIF of sampler blades for the near future.

At any rate congrats to the winners.

Hi all,

I appreciate the positive feedback, and I too have missed out on the "ACT NOW!!!" pifs, but it is all random any way. Either you are lucky enough to get your number / name selected from a big list or you are lucky enough to be on the forums at the right time.

Items are all packaged up and addressed and headed to drop them off!!

Thanks again for your generosity Flat_tire, I'm very excited to try this stuff out. The Arko is probably the one that I'm the most curious about. I've read a LOT of good stuff about it here recently.
