...oh, the pressure.
Pressure in the depths of the Mariana trench are about 1100 times that of the atmospheric pressure at the surface.
At sea level is it 14lb per square inch?

I'm weak in math, but the pressure is mind boggling. How can there be life at that depth? Seems more like another planet.

After I checked it out I had my 8 year old do a homeschool project with it. She had to scroll through the whole thing and select 4 animals and their depths that she wanted to learn more about. I had her convert the meters to feet and then find and write 3-4 facts about the creatures she chose.

I called it a Creature Report in honor of Octonauts.
