The Blues

Not the emotional feeling or mood, but color. Blue is associated with calmness, serenity, truth, wisdom, heaven, eternity, devotion, tranquility, loyalty and openness, just to name a few. But this is about brushes. So, enough psycho babble and let me show you one of my favorite colors. . .in three varieties.

Excellent work! Beautiful results!

You do realize that like many of us, you have an addiction to brush making and remaking!

Oooo, I haven't seen these blue ever ready handles! Very nice looking brushes, the 150 looks great. what were the knots you used (sizes).

I wonder if they did a blue 200.

Appreciate all of the kind comments.

Yeah, I noticed. lol I keep telling myself, "OK, you have enough done and have too many in the waiting action category." And I find myself looking and commenting, "Wow, that would make a cool restore." :biggrin1: I'm currently being treated for BRAD (Brush Restoration Addiction Disorder).

ER 59: TGN 18mm Finest set at 45mm
ER 100: TGN 22mm Finest set at 47.5mm
ER 150: TGN 22mm Finest set at 48.5mm

I opened the 100 and 150 to accept 22mm knots. Original diameter was 20.52mm and 20.78mm, respectively. I opened the 100 to 23.5mm and the 150 to 23.3mm.

I've seen several color variations of ER 200s, but none with blue marbling/swirls. I see more color patterns/variations with the smaller version of the 200 - the 150.
