Tcheon Fung Sing Hard Shaving Soap

I received a shipment from Phil (Bullgoose) yesterday, which included a new offering from Tcheon Fung Sing - Bergamotto Neroli Intenso hard shaving soap. First use this morning was very promising. Rich, slick lather and the scent was very, well, intenso!

Sounds good! Is it easy to lather?

I want to get some of the Sandalo Boise Intenso Duro soap. I don't think Bullgoose has it yet, though.

I got a sample in a PIF and this morning was my second shave with it. WOW, I'm really liking the croap of the tabacco verde. I need to trim things down but TFS might stay in my rotation. It is a nice mild smell and lathers up very well. I'd be curious to try the hard soap but that will have to wait until I trim down my samples that still await their turn on my face. Thanks for the post.

TFS Has those soaps that perform very well but our not that expensive.
I applaud their decision to make hard soaps.
I hope that, eventually, all there regular soft soaps are also available as hard soaps.
I also hope they will bring out a nice container, whether wood, tin or glass is not really important, so you can simply buy refills for your nice container.
But they are defiantly on the right track.
I personally love the neroli scent, very natural.

Bergamotto Neroli and Tabacco Verde are the only scents yet to be available as hard soaps.

The other scents will probably come out later this year. Quantities will remain limited due to the drying process.

The Sandalo Boise will then also be with "aroma intenso".

Interesting I didn't know they made a hard shaving soap. Is there an ingredient list on the back?

Yes there is, I'll try to post it later.

Oh man, I don't want to draw too many conclusions from a single use, but it was great. I have the RazoRock Don Marco (which is just the TFS Bergamot Neroli soft soap [or croap]) and the TFS Bergamotto Neroli hard soap lathered just as good and smelled just the same.

I have too damn much soap as it is, but this stuff really looks nice to me. Might have to pick up a puck of the tabverd soon. Their soft recipe is what I WISH MdC was (and at the price MdC SHOULD BE). So if they didn't screw it up by firming it up, this stuff will be ace.

Yes, the hard soaps that are available now are more intensely scented, just like the current TFS soft soaps.

As for the ingredients, there is no difference with the soft soaps.

Having used the hard soaps for over 4 months now, I think they did a pretty good job. I really like to make the lather from the hard soap.

I took delivery from Bullgoose a couple days ago on both scents. All but one of those poor guys lining up for the drawing are going to be really sad. The stuff smells magnificent. Foreplay tonight is to shave a puck to fit a bowl. Tomorrow morning, ooohh lala baby!

I had trouble navagating your website earlier today. Are there samples available of the soft soaps?

We're working (for some time now...) on newer software for the site, but basically, TFS has 2 basic scents (barbe rosse and barbe blu) and 8 more intense and special scents. These 8 come in refills and in luxury jars, both 100ml.

As we buy the barbe rosse in kilos, we have some varieties in jars and packs.

The hard soaps are the ones mentioned in this thread.

Right now, we don't have smaller samples of the soft soaps.

Tcheon Fung Sing offered us these marble jars, but we didn't get them.

They are rather heavy and were originally not meant to be for shaving soaps......

Thanks for the fast reply. I'm going to hold off for now before I order anything else. I have WAY too much as it is but TFS worked out great the past two shaves and the smell is growing on me. I definitely is something I'll look into again when I've narrowed down my list of must haves.
