I'm curious to try out this soap after reading reviews and wondering where the cheapest place to get it is. I see 26 USD on amazon and ebay and being from the US I'm wondering if that is the going rate for the bowl and the first puck.

Yep, all that! Get the Tabac! I'm finding that it not only is a great performing soap but the puck is large and lasts and lasts. It is worth it!

I am going with the stuff in the tube. I ordered a tube of it and a tube Of Irisch Moos. I am going to give them both a good sniff and then decide which one gets used first. Does all Tabac smell the same despite what form it comes in?

You want the soap, not the cream.

I think he means the plastic shave stick tube rather than the stick refill.

I think part of the charm is having the glass bowl. Just splurge - if you don't like it it's an easy move on B/S/T

Never tried the cream. The soap is just too awesome. The EDC is very nice to wear also. Usually get good comments when wearing it.

Can't wait to get it in. Have read mixed reviews of the smell, but decided to give it a shot. Also can't wait until this panama cream gets in stock that someone mentioned earlier as I'm anxious to try it out. I'm two weeks into this and it's like I have a urge to order something new every chance I get.

I am a few years in and the urge to order is still strong. I like tabac best in winter.

I have no clue of what this smell of Tabac will be like so who knows. I think I could be a lime or lavender type guy. Who knows so much to try, so little time.

Get the glass jar with the lid. It's the best soap plus container value out there.... meaning that the soap and the bowl together don't cost all that much more than just the refill puck compared to other brands.

I predict that you will love it and therefore will need the jar in the future for all of the refill pucks you will buy .
