T&H Trafalgar

Used Trafalgar Shaving cream and aftershave balm Friday and I must say I like it better than the cologne and the scent hung in the for awhile.

Trafalgar is my 2nd favorite T&H cream after Rose. I've had several T&H sampler packs, but haven't bought a tub yet. I hardly ever use a cream anymore, but if I ever finish my remaining cream, TOBS Rose, it will be replaced by T&H Rose. All cream users should try the T&H sampler pack. I would have saved a lot of money trying different creams had I tried T&H early on.

Can anyone describe the Trafalgar scent? Is it fresh, sweet, citrusy, spicy, woodsy, or combination of a few of these?

The T&H sample copy puts it well: "...spicy wood... Top notes of cedar and sandalwood... hints of jasmine and spice." And maybe a trace of patchouli? The gents at basenotes characterize the spice as nutmeg and cardamom, which sounds about right to me. Oddly the floral components are muted at first, and develop as the scent dries down.

I love it. It was my first tub, about ten years ago. I picked up the 1805 and just last month the Grafton. I love them all. Silky thick lather and wonderful scents.

I like Trafalgar and Grafton the best out of the T&H lineup.
