Superior Lather Catcher

This one just arrived today. It looks a lot like a Gem JR Latcher Catcher.

I seem to have caught the catcher bug (have 2 others en-route)... LCAD possibly?

What is the purpose of a lather catcher? I know the goal is to catch the lather but why? Is it just a cool little thing, meant to be a cleanliness thing?

Good question... i never thought of other razors as lather droppers...

At the time, it was replacing the straight razor where lather would ride on top, but the shape of the new safety razors would tend to accumulate the later inside of the large curved surface. The goal was not to "catch" the lather, it just did because of the way it's designed.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it until somebody comes up with a better one.

It Catches Lather so it can be Re used over again and again, just shake the lather into your palm and Re apply. i't saves you money and time. Thats my story and i am sticking to it, Till someone comes up with a better one
